Those of us who Geocache have done some unusual and novel things in the pursuit of our sport, but none is quite as remarkable as the feat recently accomplished by Spider Tracks and his Virtual Travel Bug Spider Wings. Spider Tracks has flown his flight simulator to every country in the world! And while he was at it visited “virtually” a geocache in each of those countries. He has posted photos of the simulator’s rendition of the locale to each of these caches and the accumulated dialogue with cache owners left in his comments would make a very interesting book. Visit Spider Wings and see for yourself. By the way, his journey isn’t through. He still plans to visit each Canadian Province and US State! Bravo, Spider Tracks on your incredible journey!

This month you can see the Andromeda Galaxy (shown above). It is the farthest object visible with the naked eye. Check it out at November Sky. Also, look for the Leonid Meteor Shower on the 17th.

I feel sorry for her. Don’t you?

Check out Julian Beever’s sidewalk art. It is amazing!

Interested in what’s up there to see this month? Check out the Night Sky.

I’m going to try to update the link every month. This is fun, informative and simple.
